Name :
NTS1 Protein
Description :
Crystal structures of neurotensin receptor subtype 1 (NTS1) allowed us to visualize the binding mode of the endogenous peptide hormone neurotensin and its pharmacologically active C-terminal fragment NT(8-13) within the orthosteric binding pocket of NTS1.
Species :
Mouse
Uniprotkb :
HEK293
Tag :
C-hFc
Synonyms :
NTS1, NTRH, NN, NT, NTR1, NMN-125, NT/N, NTSR1, NTR, NTRR
Construction :
Recombinant Mouse NTS1 Protein is expressed from HEK293 with hFc tag at the C-Terminus. It contains Ser23-Leu162.[Accession |Q9D3P9]
Protein Purity :
> 95% as determined by Tris-Bis PAGE
Molecular Weight :
The protein has a predicted MW of 42.9 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 48-51 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Endotoxin :
Less than 1EU per μg by the LAL method.
Formulatione :
Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution inPBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution :
Centrifuge the tube before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/ml is recommended. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.
Stability & Storage :
-20 to -80°C for 12 months as supplied from date of receipt. -20 to -80°C for 3-6 months in unopened state after reconstitution. 2-8°C for 2-7 days after reconstitution. Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities for optimal storage. Please minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
Shipping :
In general, recombinant proteins are provided as lyophilized powder which are shipped at ambient temperature.Bulk packages of recombinant proteins are provided as frozen liquid. They are shipped out with blue ice unless customers require otherwise.
Research Background :
Crystal structures of neurotensin receptor subtype 1 (NTS1) allowed us to visualize the binding mode of the endogenous peptide hormone neurotensin and its pharmacologically active C-terminal fragment NT(8-13) within the orthosteric binding pocket of NTS1.
