Background
BG37/TGR5 is the first Bile Acid GPCR to be identified. BG37/TGR5 expression has been reported in a wide variety of tissues, especially placenta, spleen, and monocyte/macrophages. ESTs have been isolated from blood, breast, and skin libraries.
