Background
Orosomucoid2 (ORM2) belongs to the family of lipocalin cytosolic fatty-acid bindingproteins. ORM2 is a key acute phaseplasma protein. Because of its increase due to acute inflammation, this proteinis classified as an acute-phase reactant. ORM2 may play a role inimmunosuppression.
